Day 1 – Arrival
Arrival in Bergamo or Milan Linate/Malpensa airport. Hotel accommodation near the Ligurian Sea (Italy), Diano Marina (3 nights). Dinner and overnight in hotel..
Day 2 - Excursion to GENOA & RAPALLO & PORTOFINO
During a wonderful excursion you will get to know the places Genoa, Rapallo and Portofino. We drive along the Ligurian Apennines on the coastal highway to Genoa. Continue along the coastal road Via Aurelia, the wild and romantic eastern rocky coast of Liguria, then to Rapallo and Gulf del Tigullio. In Rapallo the boat starts to Portofino. (Note: The shipping is highly dependent on the weather. If the weather conditions doesn’t permittet, the program point is off!) Return to Hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Excursion to TORINO
After breakfast drive to Torino. On a guided city tour you will get to know the Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello, Palazzo Madama and many others. In the afternoon continue to free time for shooping in the city. Return to Hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Excursion to PISA & LUCCA
After breakfast drive to Pisa. On a guided city tour you will get to know the "Piazza dei Miracoli" with the world-famous leaning tower. In the afternoon continue to Lucca, where you explore the city with the medieval city walls on your own. In the evening departure for Hotel, dinner and overnight in Montecatini Terme (1 Night).
Day 5 - Excursion to FLORENCE
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Chianciano Terme. On the way stop in Florence
fo the visit of the city. Arrival in Hotels in Chianciano Terme (2 Night).
Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 6 - Excursion to PERUGIA & ASSISI
After breakfast departure fo the full day excursion to Perugia, Umbria’s capital is untypical. Where most of the region’s hilltowns are intimate, Perugia is big and ringed with busy roads and unlovely suburbs. That said, its historic centre is as compelling as any in Italy, filled with fine Etruscan, Roman and medieval monuments. One of the country’s finest Gothic palaces, the Palazzo dei Priori, is home, among other treasures, to the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, a superb gallery of Umbrian and other art spanning several hundred years. Also see the palace’s frescoed Collegio del Cambio; San Severo, which has work by Raphael (a pupil of the Umbrian Renaissance master Perugino); and San Pietro, one of the region’s most sumptuously decorated churches. In the afternoon visit Assisi birthplace of Italy's patron Saint and home to Umbria's greatest glory - the magnificent Basilica Papale di San Francesco d'Assisi is filled with innovative and beautiful frescoes by Giotto, Cimabue, Simone Martini and others. Visit peaceful church San Damiano, the rural Eremo delle Carceri and the Basilica di Santa Chiara – but on a short trip don’t bother with Santa Maria degli Angeli on the plain below. Admire the Romanesque Duomo (cathedral), the Roman temple façade (Tempio di Minerva) in the main Piazza del Comune, and climb to the Rocca Maggiore for sweeping views. Return to Hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight in hotel to Chianciano Terme.
Day 7 - Excursion to ROME
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Fiuggi On the way stop in Rome for the visit
of the city. Arrival in Hotels in Fiuggi (1 Night). Dinner and overnight in
hotel.
Day 8 - Excursion to MONTECASSINO & AMALFI
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Caserta. Stop in to the monastry of
Montecassino, almost destroyed during Second World War. In the afternoon visit
of Amalfi and Vietri sul Mare. Return for Dinner and overnight in the hotel in
Caserta surrounding. (2 Nights)
Day 9 - Excursion to CAPRI
Breakfast in hotel. Full day excursion to Capri by ferry-boat to discover the island the jewelof Italy envied around the world. Included boat for the Island. Back to the hotel in Caserta for dinner and overnight.
Day 10 - Excursion to MATERA (European Capital Of
Culture)
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to S. Giovanni Rotondo. On the way stop in Matera
for the visit of the city. Arrival in Hotels in S. Giovanni Rotondo. (1
